TinyCal gives you flexible tools to manage your working hours, exceptions, and service-specific schedules — so clients can only book you when it truly works for you.

Weekly Hours
Set your regular working schedule
Define the hours you're available for each day of the week. Add multiple time slots per day if you want to break up your schedule.
Examples:
  • A consultant is available Monday-Friday, 9am-12pm and 2pm-6pm.
  • A yoga teacher opens slots on Tuesdays 10am-1pm and Thursdays 3pm-8pm.
  • A tutor works Saturdays 8am-12pm only.
Date-Specific Hours
Make exceptions whenever you need
Set special hours for specific dates. These override your weekly schedule, so you can adjust availability without changing your regular setup. You can also use them to block entire days.
Examples:
  • Block out December 25th for a holiday.
  • Add extended hours for a special event on March 10th (8am-8pm).
  • Shorten your workday on April 5th (9am-11am) for a personal appointment.
Shared Availabilities
Reuse your schedules across users
Availabilities are created independently in TinyCal. You can attach them to any Company User, and all the Services linked to that user will automatically follow the same schedule.
Examples:
  • A small law firm creates one “Standard Office Hours” availability and applies it to all junior lawyers.
  • A coaching company sets up “Weekend Availability” and assigns it to multiple coaches who only work Saturdays and Sundays.
  • A medical clinic creates a “Holiday Schedule” once, and attaches it to all doctors.

Currently, availabilities are tied to team members.

Soon, you'll be able to attach separate availabilities to specific services too.

The final schedule will be based on the overlap between a team members's availability and the service's availability — giving you maximum control.

Example, a consultant works Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm. For Consulting Calls, availability is Mon-Wed, 9am-5pm. For Workshops, availability is Thu-Fri, 10am-4pm.
